10 Things To Notice In ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer

Marvel Studios revealed the title of next Avengers movie to be Avengers: Endgame and dropped the first trailer for the highly anticipated movie of 2019. Formulation of fan theories is in full swing and we are here for all of them.

The trailer starring the Avengers that are alive, and one mad Titan including, shows that some things will definitely come to an end. Tony Stark aka Iron Man’s future looks darker than the soul of Hella from Thor: Ragnarok. Based on a screenshot of Black Widow’s gloved hands, fans are also predicting that we will lose Steve Rogers aka Captain America as well.

Jeremy Renner has come back to the Avengers fold but his re-entry has been one of the most dramatic introductions barring Nick Fury’s swanky return in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

There’s this and more packed in the approximately two and a half minutes long trailer. Let’s dig deep.

1. Oh poor Tony

Tony Stark aka Iron Man’s (Robert Downey Jr) sobering message for Pepper Potts starts the trailer on a worrying note. He has no food, no water, and he is gasping for last bits of oxygen. As we can see in the trailer, Tony is adrift in a space vessel that looks similar to those on Titan. Mechanic Tony made that piece of junk work but looks like it is not enough to get him home.

2. Annhilator becomes farmer

Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) armour and left hand sans Gauntlet reveals that the mad Titan is the only one at peace with the incidents of Avengers: Infinity War. He is now a farmer on an unnamed planet and the armour is nothing but a scarecrow. This comes close to the Jim Starlin’s Infinity Gauntlet comic book story.

3. What happened to Shuri?

We finally get some clues about what might have happened to Shuri (Letitia Wright). The fate of Black Panther’s (Chadwick Boseman) little sister was unclear at the end of Infinity War. In Endgame, at the Avengers HQ, we see Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) look at the visuals of Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Shuri. Is he wondering if only the Hulk had helped out instead of this scientist in the Hulk Buster?

4. Captain misses Tony and Bucky

Crying Steve Rogers aka Captain America (Chris Evans) was all MCU fans at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.“We lost. All of us, we lost friends, we lost family,” says crying Cap. (Sidenote – cannot get over Cap’s smooth face)

5. The God of Thunder found time to mourn

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is probably the only Avenger who lost everything. His family, his people, his planet, and Loki. He salvaged some pieces of his life as an Avenger by returning to Earth with the Stormbreaker. But from the looks on his face, it is not enough for the God of Thunder.

6. Is Nebula with Tony Stark?

Thor, meet Nebula (Karen Gillan). She lost everything too. But she has one up on you since it’s her father Thanos who is responsible for this chaos. The initial bad girl now mourns the good ones in her life. Especially Gamora (Zoe Saldana). From the set design, it looks like Nebula is with Tony on that ship we see at the beginning.

7. Who is this creature?

8. Here comes Ronin

Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) makes his first appearance since going under house arrest after the events of Captain America: Civil War. He is not Hawkeye anymore. In the comic books, the character of Ronin was introduced in 2005. The mask was passed down to many characters. It ultimately ended up with Hawkeye. Looks like directors Russo Brothers are sticking with bringing the darkest avatar of Hawkeye on the big screen.

9.  Ant-Man survives

Scott Lang comes knocking on the door of Avengers HQ. Unlike the first time intrusive visit. We see his red van behind. That makes it clear that Scott is looking answers to Hope Van Dyne, Janet Van Dyne, and Dr Hank Pym’s dissemination.

10. It’s not what you think Natasha
